Does my CAMEO Jewelry have a warranty / guarantee?
CAMEO will repair or replace manufacturing faults free of charge up to one year from the original date of purchase. Please retain your receipt or pass it on to the gift recipient, as the original proof of purchase is the warranty. If a receipt is not available, a credit card payment or bank statement will suffice. Please note that parts of wood, leather, glass and string items have a warranty of six months from date of purchase.
Wearing counterfeit charms, or charms by other brands on your CAMEO bracelet could damage CAMEO's unique system and will void the warranty.
What do I do if my CAMEO Jewelry is lost or stolen?
The warranty does not entitle you to replacements or refunds for lost or stolen items. We recommend the use of safety chains on bracelets and insurance cover is advisable on all valuable Jewelry. General wear and tear, misuse and tarnishing are not covered under the warranty.
My CAMEO Jewelry is damaged. What should I do?
We politely request that faulty or damaged items are returned to CAMEO to be sent to our Repairs and Services Department for assessment. Please contact CAMEO's online store at cameome.com if purchased online, or your local jewelry shop where the item was originally purchased from. Your store will be able to keep you up to date with the progress of your repair/replacement and the item will be returned to you when the assessment/repair is complete.
Can my CAMEO Jewelry be repaired?
This depends on the work required and will be evaluated on assessment.
We offer a repairs service including replacing clasps, fixing clasps, removing stuck charms and tightening clips and clasps. If your Jewelry is outside of the warranty or where there is no proof of purchase, these services will be at a small cost. In some circumstances it may not be possible to repair the damage caused.
What services do you offer?
The CAMEO Repairs and Services Department provides services such as cleaning and polishing, removal of scratches and an annual service check including checking of any crystal settings. These services will be at a small cost. Charges must be paid to CAMEO at cameome.com.
How should I care for my CAMEO Jewelry?
Your CAMEO Jewelry should be handled with care at all times.
All sterling silver will tarnish over time, but it will happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulfur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin PH. The amount of tarnishing (oxidation) that occurs is dependent on the skin and care habits of the wearer. Tarnishing is therefore not a manufacturing fault. We also recommend that you do not wear your Jewelry while bathing, while in bed or during sporting activities. Always undo the clasp to remove your bracelet.
Wearing counterfeit charms, or charms by other brands on your CAMEO bracelet could damage the unique system and we therefore recommend that only genuine CAMEO charms are worn on our bracelets.
How should I store my CAMEO Jewelry?
Jewelry should be stored away from natural sunlight and heat, in a protective (lined) Jewelry box or a tarnish-resistant pouch. It can also be stored in a plastic zip lock bag made of Mylar or polyethylene. Never use polyvinyl plastic bags, such as bin liners as they contain sulfur compounds, which will make sterling silver tarnish faster. Do not store your Jewelry in the bathroom. Please note that our CAMEO retail gift boxes are not made for long-term storage as they are not airtight.
How should I clean my CAMEO Jewelry?
Clean your Jewelry with a soft toothbrush in diluted soapy water. Avoid soaking pearls. Polish your Jewelry regularly with a good quality silver polishing cloth. Avoid the use of silver dip or paste as they contain harsh chemicals. Leather care creams are recommended for use on our leather products.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from the CAMEO (cameome.com), please send it back to us. You can return any item purchased from cameome.com within 30 days of receipt for a refund excluding shipping costs. CAMEO will only accept returns for purchases made from at cameome.com. Likewise, CAMEO stores and partners will not accept returns on products purchased from cameome.com. All jewelry sets with item numbers starting with CBS (e.g. CBS7560009) are bundled sets. Please note that if you have purchased a bundled set and wish to return it for a refund, the complete set must be returned.
All goods will be inspected upon arrival at our warehouse.
Can I return an item purchased from cameome.com to a CAMEO store or partner?
It is not possible to return an item purchased from cameome.com to a CAMEO store or partner. Please return all cameome.com orders to cameome.com using the returns policy described above. Likewise it is not possible to return an item purchased from a CAMEO store or partner to cameome.com.
How do I return my CAMEO Jewelry?
You will need to visit cameome.com where the item(s) were purchased in order to receive a refund and contact us by Line, Facebook or email. A valid proof of purchase must be presented within 30 days of purchase and the items must be as new.
The price of the item I purchased has changed since I received it. Can I get a refund?
As a retail business our prices change in response to trends, stock and demand from the consumer. As such we are not able to refund the difference.
How do I exchange my CAMEO Jewelry?
CAMEO is happy to exchange any item purchased. A valid proof of purchase must be presented within 30 days of purchase and the items must be as new. Any items for exchange without a receipt may, at our discretion, be exchanged at the current price.
Have you received my returned item?
When we receive your return we will email you with confirmation of your refund. If you would like confirmation that your order has been received, please contact cameome.com customer support by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I return or exchange CAMEO Jewelry purchased using a gift card?
CAMEO will accept returns or exchanges of Jewelry purchased using a gift card. A valid proof of purchase along with a COA must be presented within 30 days of purchase and the items must be as new. The amount refunded will be put back on to a gift card or a new gift card will be mailed to you.
I don’t have a receipt. Can I still receive a refund or exchange my CAMEO Jewelry?
A receipt must be presented to receive a full refund within 30 days from date of purchase. We cannot offer a refund or exchange without a valid receipt.
How do I cancel my order?
You have two working days to cancel your order for any item purchased from the CAMEO online store for a full refund, including postal costs. The two working days start from the day you receive your order confirmation by email.
We need written confirmation of cancellation from you, so you’ll need to contact us quoting your order number.
What is the returns policy for sale items on cameome.com?
Refunds are available on sale items within 14 days of purchase.
Exchanges are not available.
